Smartbrake has a number of input sensors and output
controls, these are used by the advanced electronic control system, to
determine if the braking system should be activated. The basic
functionality is shown below. This is brief over view of the sensors and

Door Contacts
Seat Contact
Ignition switch
Throttle sensor (option)
Speed sensor
Park brake ON (no park pressure)
SmartBrake OUTPUTS:
Brake valve operate (brakes on)
Brake valve release (brakes off)
AUXILIARIES:
Alarm indication and keypad
Maintenance mode (disables auto brake for servicing)
Towing mode (disables auto brake for towing)
Alarm Buzzer and alarm relay output
2 Spare sensor inputs
BRAKE LOGIC:
BRAKE ON
Seat vacant AND door open AND speed <7kph
BRAKE INHIBIT (overrides brake ON states)
Park brake already ON
Maintenance/Towing mode ON
Speed greater than 7 km/h approx.. (adjustable)
